These sweet puppies were rescued from a life of horror in a high-kill Alabama shelter. They've witnessed unspeakable conditions and have gone through a lifetime of experiences in their short lives. But now, after being lovingly fostered, they are healthy and thriving. With your help, we are committed to finding them the best possible homes where they will feel loved, safe, and well-cared for - never to be hungry or neglected again.

Scruffles & Whiskers are young wire-haired terriers with energy, curiosity, and so much love to give. As true survivors, they are resilient and will happily bond with their new families, experiencing the world with wide-eyed wonder. Both puppies are playful, affectionate, and will make wonderful companions in the right home.

_To bring Scruffles & Whiskers home, you must:_
- Be at least 21 years old

- Ensure all members of your household agree to adopt a pet
- Be prepared to pay a $350 adoption fee

**Steps to Adopt:**

3. If approved, our friendly adoption counselors will arrange for a home visit and answer any questions you may have.

Please note that our pets are fostered in Alabama and transported to Vermont after adoption with an additional $200 transport fee. However, adopters can also choose to pick up their new family member in Alabama without incurring the transport fee.
